Born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago West Indies, Pastor King was brought up in a strict Christian family and was taught that prayer and the word were most important in his life. He received Christ as Savior at age fourteen, soon after he heard the call of God to preach.
In 1998, he was led by the Spirit to come to Waterbury, CT with his wife and daughter where he served as an associate Pastor under the leadership of Rev. James Lilley at the First Assembly of God. On June 10 2007, he planted his own church Miracle Center, where he is currently the Pastor.
Pastor Christopher King exemplifies Luke 4:18, the spirit of the Lord is upon me for he has annointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he has sent me to heal the broken hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those that are oppressed and to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.
